The Langkawi Crocodile Farm

Langkawi Crocodile Farm is home to more than 1,000 crocodiles, including alligators and various other species, many of which are the rare ones.

Within the farm the crocodiles are harvested for their skin for leather products and some stuffed baby crocodiles are also bought by visitors from the souvenir shop.

If you walk through the farm you will come across different ponds like a species pond which has one of the largest numbers of crocodile and alligator species in the world, a Baby crocodile pond, a breeding pond, a jumping pond, a feeding pond and other.

There is also an Exhibition Centre which displays the life cycle of these reptile as well as pictures of every possible characteristic of crocodile. Visitors can also feed them and photograph them while learning about these giant creatures of prehistoric times. A live wrestling show- man versus crocodile is also presented in the Exhibition Center.
